About us
Astro’s Agility has been training dogs since 1998, when owner/trainer Laura Dayton opened Astro’s Agility Academy on El Centro in Napa. Operating until 2023 the center introduced more than 200 happy pups to the magic of the Agility course, in addition to AKC classes in STAR puppy, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Scent Training.
Dayton, with more than 30 years of professional dog training experience, continues to offer agility, CGC certifications and Behavioral Modification training.
Astro’s has one exclusive Sonoma agility venue where Dayton introduces dogs to the sport of agility, assesses their aptitude (and that of their handler), will guide them through the sport for fun, or accompany them to trial for competition. It is a Sunday morning class, with a waiting list, but has weekly rotations.
